I haven't come across many good quality recipes for watermelon smoothies. The ones listed below are a good start, but more are always appreciated. If you have one to share, please contact me. Of course, you will receive full credit for your submission.
Vitamin C smoothie
3 cups of watermelon
1 cup cataloupe
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 cups of ice
Blend everything together and enjoy a large dose of vitamin C
Limey Watermelon Smoothie
1 1/2 cups watermelon – chopped
1 1/2 cups honeydew melon – chopped
2 limes — juice only
1 cup vanilla lowfat yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
Blend everything and enjoy the taste of watermelon with a hint of lime. Refreshing!
Watermelon Smoothie
2 cups seeded watermelon chunks
1 cup crushed ice
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
In a blender, combine the watermelon, ice, yogurt, sugar, and ginger.
