Strawberry Muffins




These strawberry muffins make good use of the sweet, tasty fruit.

Try these and see if they become one of your favorite strawberry recipes.



What you need:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1/2 tsp strawberry extract

  • 1 pint strawberries, chopped

What you do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray pans with vegetable spray or use papers.

Melt butter and set aside.

In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk, strawberry extract, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.

Add butter and whisk until well blended. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.

Fold in flour using a spatula or wooden spoon until moist.

Fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle a little sugar on top of each muffin.

Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until light brown.

After 5 minutes, cool on a wire rack.
