Spicy Fruit Salad



What you need:

  • 1 large orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 medium pear, cubed
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup red or purple grapes
  • 1/2 cup diced prunes
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamon or nutmeg

What you do:

In a medium bowl, combine orange, pear, banana, grapes, prunes, and walnuts.

Prepare dressing by mixing together the yogurt, cinnamon and cadamom (or nutmeg) until blended.

Just before serving add dressing to fruit and stir to combine.
