Salsa and Chips

This salsa and chips recipe makes a nice tasty combination.

What you need:

For the salsa:

  • 2 kiwi, peeled and diced
  • 2 golden delicious apples - peeled, cored and diced
  • 8 oz raspberries
  • 8 oz strawberries
  • 8 oz blueberries
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp preserves (any flavor, but strawberry is really good!)

For the chips:

  • 10 flour tortillas (10 inch size)
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted, or butter flavored cooking spray
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon

What you do:

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the kiwi, apples, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, white sugar, brown sugar and preserves.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Coat both sides of each tortilla with butter. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

Sprinkle wedges with cinnamon sugar, turn over and sprinkle other side.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges.

Allow to cool and serve with chilled fruit salsa.

Enjoy the fruit salsa recipe.

Makes about 10 servings.
