Pantry Fruit Salad

Take a look in your pantry. Fruit salad that can be made with items you already have in the house; and fruit that is already in the crisper or fruit bowl.


What you need:

  • 1 large red apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
For the oil mixture:

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Garnish:

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

What you do:

Place the sliced apple, pear and orange into a bowl. In a seperate, small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, and honey. Blend well. Pour oil mixture over the fruit, tossing to coat well.

Garnish with chopped pecans.
