Pantry Fruit Salad


Pantry Fruit Salad can be made with items that are already in the house and with fruit that is already in the crisper or fruit bowl.



Whip up this fruit salad recipe and get the nutritional values of fruit in a yummy salad.



What you need:

  • 1 large red apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
For the oil mixture:

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Garnish:

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

What you do:

Place the sliced apple, pear and orange into a bowl.

In a separate, small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, and honey. Blend well.

Pour oil mixture over the fruit, tossing to coat well.

Garnish with chopped pecans.
