Mango Coulis




This mango coulis is a nice mango recipe that's one of the tasty mango desserts and an easy dessert recipe to make at home.



What you need:

2 mangos
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch

What you do:

Peel mangos then cut flesh into cubes about 1/2 inch.

In a saucepan, mix the mango and sugar, add water.

On medium heat, cook to simmering. Mango should be soft.

Remove from heat and strain through a mesh strainer.

Put the strained liquid back in the saucepan.

In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and a little water to make a slurry. Whisk this into the mango mixture in the saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the liquid thickens and is clarified.

Remove from heat and chill. Keep refrigerated.

Use within 2 - 3 weeks.
