Fruit Yogurt
The yogurt recipe is a favorite among many children. With its creamy and smooth texture, fruit yogurt is one of the great healthy food snacks for kids.
It's perfect for breakfast or just about any other time, too! Kids enjoy any time of the day or as a before bedtime snack.
What you need:
- 1/3 cup mixed fruit (bananas, peaches, berries...)
- 2 tsp frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla OR almond extract
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
What you do:
- Chop or puree fruit to desired consistency
- Add fruit and flavorings to the yogurt, stir to combine
- Serve, or cover and store in the fridge until later (it will keep for a day)
Makes enough for 2 small children.
