Cranberry Salsa
A cranberry recipe that is easy and requires no cooking or baking!
The tasty cranberry salsa goes great with your favorite dipping chips, or as a side dish with chicken, even fish!
This is also a nice addition to a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal, and it's great all year through as well.
What you need:
- 2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup of canola oil
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 medium oranges
- 1 minced serrano chili pepper
- 1 tbsp minced ginger root
- 1 tbsp minced cilantro
What you do:
Peel the oranges.
Remove the white from the oranges and discard.
Optionally, grate some of the orange peel to add to the salsa, discard any unused.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor .
Enjoy with chips or slices of cut up squares of pita bread.
