Baked Apples Recipe

A baked apples recipe that's also a nice maple syrup recipe to add to your collection. Top your pie off with ice cream for a nice dessert.

It's one of the tasty apple desserts with a hint of ginger and cinnamon included. Enjoy with your favorite hot drink!

What you need:

6 apples
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp powdered ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
maple syrup

What you do:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Core apples only, do not peel. Put in a baking dish spacing them so they don't touch each other.

In a bowl, mix sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Drizzle over apples.

Put an equal amount of butter on top of each apple.

Pour maple syrup over apples.

Bake 40 - 45 minutes until apples are a light golden color and soft.

Use the syrup in the baking dish as a topping sauce.
